Rohtak, May 20, 2025 — A major MBBS exam scam has shocked Pt BD Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak. Out of 24 students accused in the MBBS exam paper manipulation case, 14 are now in big trouble for refusing to cooperate with the police and further investigation also they hide the truth.
Sources reveal that these students, studying at a private medical college in another district, were recently grilled by investigators. But instead of helping, they hid key information and even tried to mislead the police team.
“All of them will be called again. Action will follow based on what we find,” said DSP Dalip Singh, leading the investigation.
What’s the Scam?
The students under investigation belong to the 2020, 2021, and 2022 batches and are now facing serious allegations of exam fraud. A fact-finding committee formed by UHSR in January flagged suspicious answer sheets. These answer sheets appeared to have been rewritten at the university itself and then resubmitted to manipulate the marks.
In a shocking twist, a video surfaced in January showing students filling out answer sheets while sitting on chairs and beds in a private room. This video was submitted by a whistleblower MBBS student and sparked the investigation.
Police say when they visited the college in April, the 14 students not only stayed silent but tried to dodge questions and confuse investigators.
“They were completely uncooperative. Not only did they hide the truth, but also tried to throw us off,” said an official on condition of anonymity.
So far, statements from some students have been recorded. Six more are next in line for interrogation.
The tampered answer sheets are now undergoing forensic testing. Investigators believe more secrets could come out soon — and the heat is rising. Stay tuned as this medical exam scam unfolds.
