Dharmendra News: Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra (89) has been in the headlines recently, and fans across the country are searching for Dharmendra latest news to know about his health condition. The good news is that the legendary actor has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital and is now stable and recovering at home.

According to hospital sources, Dharmendra’s health news is positive. He was admitted a few days ago after experiencing breathing difficulties and weakness, but his condition improved after proper medical care. A senior doctor from Breach Candy confirmed,

“Dharmendra ji has been discharged. He is stable and will continue recovery at home under medical supervision.”

His sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with wife Hema Malini, were by his side throughout his hospital stay. Sunny Deol issued a statement saying,

“Papa is recovering well and responding to treatment. Please don’t believe any false rumours.”

Over the last few days, many people were searching online asking, “Is Dharmendra alive?”, “Is Dharmendra still alive?”, and “Did Dharmendra pass away?” The family has now made it clear that these are false rumours — actor Dharmendra is alive and recovering well at home.

Fans gathered outside his Mumbai residence after hearing the news of his discharge, expressing relief and support for the much-loved star.

Often called Bollywood’s “He-Man,” Dharmendra has ruled Indian cinema for more than six decades. His next film, “Ikkis,” directed by Sriram Raghavan, is expected to release later this year, depending on his health.

Dharmendra’s Health Issue Explained

As per doctors, Dharmendra suffered from breathing problems and fatigue, which are common among elderly individuals with age-related health concerns such as mild cardiac or lung weakness. He was admitted for observation, oxygen therapy, and physiotherapy to improve stamina and oxygen levels. After showing steady recovery, he was discharged for home-based care, where he will continue under medical supervision and a regulated lifestyle.
