The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has informed the Supreme Court that the NEET PG 2025 exam cannot be held before August 3, 2025. This follows the Supreme Court’s directive to conduct the exam in a single shift to ensure fairness, replacing the earlier two-shift system.
Due to the extensive logistical preparations required for this change, the exam has been postponed from the initially planned date of June 15. NBEMS is expected to announce the revised date soon on its official website.
Advocate Satyam Singh Rajpoot, who has been representing the Union Doctors Forum (UDF) against the NBE in the Supreme Court, shared an important update on social media. He confirmed that the NBE has submitted an application to hold the NEET PG 2025 exam on August 3, 2025. He assured everyone that this will be the final date, and the court is expected to approve it without any objections. He wished all the candidates the best and emphasized that there’s no more confusion left about the exam schedule.
In summary, the Supreme Court’s decision to hold NEET PG 2025 in one shift has caused a logistical challenge for the NBE. While the exam was initially scheduled for June 15, 2025, it now seems difficult to conduct it on that date under the new conditions. Candidates are advised to stay alert for official updates and prepare accordingly.
